Yeap, I'm a re-wearer. Over and over again. I love good quality pieces and in fact of lacking thrift stores around here and several bad experiences with thrifting on ebay (too small, too large, misrepresented...) I started spending much more for a single piece. Most stuff comes from online shops were I have the chance to return the items if they don't fit or the quality isn't good enough.
That tangerine coloured Winter Kate blouse is a good example for that. Bought it last summer and wore it several times during my California vacation (in San Fran, what better memory could a piece of clothing transfer?). And now, combined with a suede jacket (from L.A.) and a coat, it's perfect for the winter-spring-transfer.
That coat was another investment buy, too. It was 400 bugs, but since I bought it two months ago, I wore it everyday and I totally see me keeping it forever. In times when clothes are mass-produced, where funky throw-away-fashion is common sense, it's nice to have the opportunity to get some well-made stuff that lasts for years. Or even is resellable for a reasonable price.
