Recently, I spent some money on my 9 to 5 wardrobe. Well, 9 to 5 clothes is not the correct term for them, as I'm a freelancer and PhD student who mainly works at home. But from time to time, I need some good stuff when it comes to conferences and presentations. I hate wearing stuff for work or casual events only, so I need clothes that fit in both parts of my life.

Simple basics like blazers, blouses and skinny trousers are so perfect for that. They are so easy to dress down for wearing them every day. Just add some Ray Ban Aviators, flat ankle boots (like these), a great pair of skinny jeans (like that pair in light grey, my fave colour for spring) and a wide brim hat and - whoop - you've got that late 60's Kate Moss or Elin Kling kinda style that works 24/7.
